Rochelle’s opinion

“Mischief Theatre have brought a new meaning to the word farce. Combining witty scripted jokes and wordplay with impeccable scenic design and direction, they’ve reinvented the comedy play with outstanding effect. This is the show I would force someone to see when they’ve had a bad day because I know they’d come out with a smile on their face. One for all ages!”

How do I get cheap tickets?

Check out the tips below to discover the best deal for your trip, whether it’s a spontaneous visit or a day out planned months in advance. If you want more detail, check out my dedicated blog post.

Best last-minute deal

With no rush tickets available, you might think this isn’t a last-minute kind of show. But there’s usually great seats available from TKTS at just a fraction of the cost. You can book tickets online or in person at the booth in Leicester Square. They are only available for same-day performances.

Best for booking ahead

The £22 seats at The Play That Goes Wrong are probably some of the best ‘cheap seats’ in the West End. They’re situated at the back of the circle. The view is clear and not too far away – it’s quite a small theatre. Although the heads of the actors might be cut off on the top platform, it hardly affects the show or plot. I’d recommend going for the left hand side (when looking at the stage), or the higher seat numbers, so you can see more of Trevor’s booth in the auditorium – action happens there throughout the show.
