Rochelle’s opinion
“In a world where theatre is getting more ‘immersive’, here’s a show that has it all finely balanced. Want great music and powerhouse vocals? It’s got it. Want a show with laughs and a warm hug at the end? It’s got it. Want to get a beer on stage before the show? Yep, Choir of Man has it! Mixed in among the excellent choice of known chart hits are beautiful, heartfelt monologues about everything from love to loss. Throw in tap dancing, a couple of serenades and some pub games and you’ve got yourself a brilliant night at the theatre.”

Cheap tickets for booking ahead
The Arts Theatre is a small and somewhat pokey little theatre, but it really works for this show. No matter where you sit you never feel too far from the action. The cheapest seats are priced at £22.50 (£27.50 for peak performances). These are usually found in the rear row of the side slips. They do have a restricted side view, and they are bench seats so can be a little cramped. But they’re super close to the stage and you do feel really involved in the show. However I have noticed that the theatre rebands seats quite far ahead – sometimes performances the next month have better seats available for under £30. It’s worth checking different times and dates to see what’s on offer.
