Rochelle’s opinion

Mamma Mia! is the jukebox musical. It pretty much made genre what it is and has been a staple of the West End ever since the late nineties. There’s a reason – it brings so much joy to audiences. The show creates a fun story around the ABBA songs that are loved by millions. And it is anything but serious! If you’re looking for a couple of hours of escapism, this is the show for it. There’s nothing groundbreaking about the script or the staging, but it has the music, the dancing and the laughs in droves.”

Cheap tickets for booking ahead

Tickets for Mamma Mia! start at just £17.50. These seats are found in the grand circle slips. They are marked as restricted as the side view results in some of the stage being cut off and you need to lean forward. Reviews of these seats aren’t great – for just a few pounds more you’re better off going for the £22.50 seats in the central section of the grand circle or the balcony. Although some are further away from the stage, the view is almost clear for many. Don’t forget to check the view from your seat on Seat Plan before you book!
