Rochelle’s opinion
“If you want that little bit more from your West End experience then book a ticket to Cabaret. The show starts the moment you step inside the door, with a prologue company performing around the theatre’s bars before the musical starts. The show itself is staged in the round and the new direction of the classic show has been highly praised. There are brilliant performances, seemingly no matter which stars are taking on the leading two roles. With a poignant message of hidden wrongdoings that still strikes a chord today, this production certainly has the goods to back up the hype.”

How do I get cheap Cabaret tickets?
The front row table seats may set you back a few hundred pounds, but you don’t need to remortgage your house to get inside the Kit Kat Club. Check out my top tips for cheap Cabaret tickets below.
Last-minute cheap tickets
As one of London’s most popular shows, cheaper tickets are a bit harder to get your hands on. But it’s not impossible! Cabaret runs a daily lottery and winners can purchase tickets at just £25. Only a handful are available although they can include those mega-pricy table seats! It is massively oversubscribed, but you have to be in it to win it as they say. It has been known on quieter days for lottery ‘losers’ to be offered other reduced-price tickets for that day’s performances. They cost a bit more at £55 but can be another good way to secure discounted seats without forking out hundreds of pounds.
Cheap tickets for booking ahead
The cheapest seats in the theatre are priced at £30 and are found at the back of the upper circle. I must say though, they are some of the best upper circle seats I’ve ever sat in! The Playhouse Theatre is small at the best of times and this level has never felt too far from the stage, but with the modifications made to turn it into the Kit Kat Club it is now offers probably an even better view. Each row (there are only four) is raised high above the one in front and has a padded section in front of the seats to make any leaning much more comfortable. If you stay as central as possible, hardly anything is missed on the circular stage, but even on the sides the restriction is small for the main action. These seats offer great value for what can be an expensive show. As a popular cheap alternative, they do sell out quickly. But more £30 seats are released all the time for dates a few weeks or months ahead. Just keep checking back until your date becomes available.
